Infinite Possibility & the Multiverse

I know why you’re here. I know what you’ve been doing. Why you hardly sleep, why you live alone, and why night after night, you sit by your computer. You’re looking for it. I know because I was once looking for the same thing. I was looking for an answer. It’s the question that drives us. It’s the question that brought you here. You know the question, just as I did.

“What is the Multiverse?”

The answer is out there, and it’s looking for you, and it will find you if you want it to.

The Multiverse found me. It was over a decade ago when in a flash I hit on the notion that the three fundamental dimensions of the Universe – the trinity of Time, Space, and Matter – each extend backward beyond the origin point to delineate how we as humans can extend Reality into realms of our own imagination.

While Reality is bound by Time – the moment-by-moment unspooling of synchronous events in the linear, sequential order of actual time – we can harness No-Time, creating events that become autonomous, independent of actual time. We can enact events that are non-linear, asynchronous, non-chronological, or transient, shift into the past or future, slow down or speed up, or play with one’s awareness of time in any way that creates a distinct, disparate sense of time (or timelessness) that does not truly exist.

Whereas Reality is limited by Space – the real places of the physical world – we can inhabit No-Space, where experiences happen virtually, in a place (or world) that does not really exist. The primary activity instead happens on (or in) a screen of some sort – movie, TV, PC, tablet, PDA, smartphone, watch, headset, goggles, or glasses, as well as windshield, wall, or anything else on which an image could be projected (including the retina itself once projectors become small enough). Although virtual experiences still happen inside of us, in our mind’s eye, the place formed within the mind is not the same one in which our physical body resides.

And although Reality is constructed solely from Matter – the material substances we see, hear, touch, smell, and taste all around us – we can employ No-Matter, digital substances that have no materiality, comprised of the zeros and ones of digital technology.

But, oh, what those bits can construct! Think too of the amazing places we can go virtually. And realize how we can escape the tyranny of time whenever we let its confines wash away from our consciousness.

Therein lies the power of the Multiverse – to enable experiences we could never have in Reality.

It took me ten years to decipher it (night after night, sitting by my computer), to figure out with Kim what each combination of variables – Time and No-Time, Space and No-Space, Matter and No-Matter – signified as its own distinct realm of experience, and then to develop approaches for how businesses could use it as a tool to create customer value on the digital frontier. And finally together to write it out in book form.

I do hope you take the time to read the end result, Infinite Possibility: Creating Customer Value on the Digital Frontier (in physical hardcover or virtual e-book form!) and use it in your business.

And do explore this website and all it has to offer. However you embrace the Multiverse, may you discover exactly the right opportunity for you and your business amidst the infinite possibility now available to us.

That opportunity is out there, and it’s looking for you, and it will find you if you want it to.
